"Metropolis" is a vibrant mixed-media painting that captures the energy and movement of a buzzing cityscape and advocates unity. Shahi includes culturally significant buildings such as The Burj Khalifa, Big Ben, The Eiffel Tower, and Hagia Sophia to promote the harmonious ideology of unity. She does this to further embark on the importance of coexistence as a society and encourages the acceptance of diversity. Dominated by a fiery red hue, the canvas is alive with the textures and layers created through the artist's use of the impasto technique. The viewer is transported into a world of towering buildings, bustling streets, and dynamic city life that pulsates with energy.
