"Fierce" depicts the balance of masculinity and femininity within a relationship and how it conveys strength in the face of adversity. The artwork depicts the intensity of the dynamic where the man partakes the role of the protector as well as the provider while the woman indulges in the supportive and passionate role and how these adjoined aspects create a powerful but nurturing relationship. Within this painting, we are drawn towards a man and woman, surrounded by a dominant yellow background with hints of orange and white. The figures are beautifully detailed, with rich red highlights that draw the viewer's attention toward their postures and strong expressions. The sense of movement in the painting is heightened by the flowing hair of the characters, suggesting an intense atmosphere. Shahi uses this to convey the strength of unity and invites the viewer to consider the power of coexistence.
