Eye of the tiger depicts a variety of messages and stories through its many windows of symbolism scattered throughout the canvas. Shahi represents the strength of femininity as she depicts a woman within the foreground of her canvas being completed by a tiger indicating her ferocity and bold nature. She depicts a cityscape and contrasts it with nature as well as the ocean within the bottom half of the canvas through the use of the impasto technique. The explosion of color within the painting evokes feelings of boldness, valiance, and power.
